What I do & how it began

I have 15+ years experience DJing and collecting music, working in a wide variety of settings: beginning in clubs and bars to weddings, birthdays & corporate events, playing a vast range of musical styles and genres to suit different demographics. I’m an open-format DJ, meaning I don’t restrict myself to certain genres but instead draw upon all kinds of music to suit the occasion, setting, and clientele. I’m currently based in Northern NSW, servicing Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Byron Bay and everywhere in between. I’m also available for Melbourne bookings.

Having begun my DJ career studying the art of turntablism (using the turntable and record as a creative instrument itself rather than just pressing buttons) after seeing the acclaimed DJ Jazzy Jeff at the Prince of Wales in Melbourne, I developed my skills as a party-rocking DJ, collecting a vast array of dance-floor friendly records. Just as comfortable setting the mood with background tunes as I am entertaining a prime-time dancefloor, I smoothly blend different styles into an eclectic, interesting and fun set. In more recent years I’ve focused on private events rather than clubs and bars playing many weddings and corporate events for a wide range of clients and musical tastes.

An established producer also, I added ‘Aria Award-Winning Producer’ to my resume having produced the track “Check It Out” on Illy’s album “Bring It Back”, which won an ARIA for “Best Urban Album”.
